There is an incredible story behind what each vine of grapes goes through. In spite of the heat, the sun, the rain, and all the ever-changing weather, it made the wine even more special. For this reason, each year, no one knows what is going to happen that will make each grape so unique. It’s a life story in itself. It’s incredible what goes on in the soil as it nurtures the vine, each grape.
I grew up in the Philippines. I’ve seen how rich people lived, but I never felt sorry for myself because I didn’t have their luxuries. We never went hungry, so I just did my best with what was afforded me. Our family was close-knit. And we all loved music. Filipinos love to sing. Growing up in church, I tried participating in singing groups that would allow me. The Church Adult Choir finally included me because I was always there when they practiced. I walked two miles daily to practice piano in the rain and the sunshine. Later, I became a Church pianist in my early High School days. After I graduated high school, I attended Bible school and took up playing the accordion seriously.
Come closer, and look at my Wine Label
Now, let’s look a little closer at my Wine Label. You will notice the piano keys and the rose. The daintiness of the flower speaks of the influence of music in my life. Because music has guided me throughout my life, it has helped me stay steady through the challenging years and focus on things I need to do. And it also gave me a sense of identity and taught me responsibility and discipline throughout my growing-up years. The colors are not bold but subtle. And obviously, it goes for sipping a delicious Fine wine paired with your favorite meal.
Music in My Wine Label
Because I was never exposed to Fine Wine. I only saw it in the movies when they drank at the table. And in fact, I’ve read that in Europe, it’s customary to drink it with their meals. I’ve also heard that drinking wine has its own medicinal value. I’ve always been torn about what I want to think about Wine. I had an Uncle that I saw many times walking the streets drunk. And, of course, later on, I knew that he didn’t drink Fine Wine. Whatever he drank, obviously, he abused it. Going back to the subtle color of my Wine Label. Enjoyment of a sip of Wine doesn’t have to be boisterous. It can be calming and relaxing, like the touch of the piano keys and listening to music filling the air.
Is it possible to have my name on the Label?
In fact, it’s just recently that I thought it could be possible! Why not? I can write a book, I can write a song, and have my name as the writer and composer. Recently, I just saw a Wine company where you can have your name put on the Wine Label for a fee. Hmmm. That’s interesting. But what’s interesting is if I can get my name on a label because of my accomplishments. That would be incredible, don’t you think? I can get a ribbon or a medal, but there’s something about seeing my name on a Fine Wine Bottle and displayed ….I can see it… inside a glass cabinet! It’s like a trophy of my accomplishment.
If you’re reading this, you might wonder what the big deal is about it. First, what does a Wine Label have to do with Accomplishment? Actually, it’s not just the Accomplishment of reaching my financial goals. But what’s incredible is that I get to help people achieve theirs, too. In the same way, I can bring fathers and moms, grandmas and grandpas, young and old, along on the journey with me. I will reach mine by helping them achieve financial independence, too!
